Aiming to help realize the dreams of thousands of such students, Aakash Institute was founded in the year 1988. It was started as a humble coaching institute with 12 students only, who trusted on our simple vision of enlightening the deserving minds. Gradually, with the consistent support of well-wishers and mentors, Aakash Institute has today become a rare phenomenon.
However, who made this grand accomplishment possible, is something very interesting to know? This is no one but an iron-willed visionary Mr. J C Chaudhry, who turned Aakash – an unparalleled brand on the landscape of Medical & Engineering Coaching in India. The three separate units of Aakash are Aakash Institute, Aakash IIT-JEE & Aakash Foundations. All the three divisions run under the aegis of Aakash Educational Services Pvt. Ltd (AESPL). And, these three divisions work as separate operating units in order to facilitate varied students coming from different shades.
Aakash Foundation is the youngest division of Aakash Educational Services Ltd. (AESL), which was started in the year 2009. It has been outperforming since its inception in all counts. Thanks to its innovative teaching methodologies, it has been constantly bearing the fruits of success and steering its students to the top echelons in School / Board as well as Foundation Level Entrance Examinations. In addition, it also lays strong foundation for the elite competitions like NEET / JEE. Recently, the startling result of Foundation students in 2012 Olympiad, where 27 top rankers out of 100, and the persistently increasing success ratio in various Junior level entrance examinations like NTSE, KVPY, JSTS and also in Olympiad Examinations such as NSO, IMO etc. bears the testimony of its outstanding performance.
The history of our selection has been consistently adding new feather every year because the above results speak volumes of its veracity. In 2012-13, our students dominated the scene and bagged Top ranks in almost every Medical, Engineering and Olympiad Entrance Exams of the country.
Aakash IIT-JEE
Aakash IIT-JEE, the Engineering wing of Aakash, was started in 2007 to coach the classes XI and XII engineering aspirants.
Aakash branches and franchise centres
Aakash has already its branches and franchise centres in North and East India and some part of West India. Aakash also started to expand its branches in South India before 2011 academic session. Due to NEET and JEE to be made all India based (CET) for Medical and Engineering aspirants respectively from 2013, Aakash has expanded its presence in South India and West India with centers in Gujarat (Ahmedabad and Vadodara), Karnataka (Bangalore), Andhra Pradesh (Hyderabad) and in Kerala (Kochi and Trivandrum).
